Chapter 1: Morning Routine – Starting the Day as a Teacher

Every weekday morning, my day begins at 6:00 AM. As an elementary English teacher, having a structured morning routine is essential to ensure a smooth start to the day. The first thing I do after waking up is stretch for a few minutes to loosen up my body. Then, I head to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. A typical breakfast consists of eggs, toast, and a cup of coffee to energize me for the day ahead.

By 7:00 AM, I wake up my children and help them get ready for school. I make sure they have their school bags packed and lunch boxes prepared. After a quick chat about their day ahead, I drive them to school before heading to my own workplace.

I use songs, flashcards, and storytelling to make the lessons engaging.

My goal is to create a fun and supportive environment where students feel confident using English.

After lunch, I focus on grading assignments and providing feedback to students. As a teacher, ensuring that each student receives the support they need is crucial. Some students require extra help with pronunciation or writing, so I set aside time for individual or small group tutoring sessions.

In addition to teaching, I attend staff meetings and work on curriculum planning. Collaborating with fellow teachers helps me improve lesson structures and find new ways to engage students.

Chapter 4: Evening and Family Time

After finishing work, I pick up my children from school and return home. The evening is reserved for family time. We often cook dinner together, discuss our day, and spend quality time as a family.

After dinner, I help my children with their homework before they wind down with a bedtime story. Once they are asleep, I take some time to relax by reading a book or watching a show before heading to bed.

저녁 식사 후에는 아이들의 숙제를 도와주고, 취침 전에 책을 읽어주며 하루를 마무리합니다. 아이들이 잠든 후에는 책을 읽거나 TV를 보며 휴식을 취한 뒤 잠자리에 듭니다.
